What it verifies

• Quotations, byte for byte. A quotation is compared against the source opinion text and comes back with the locator where it was found, or it comes back as a miss.
• Good law, with a date and a scope. A treatment verdict states the date it was computed and how many citing opinions were examined to reach it, so a stale or thin answer is visible as such.
• Support, graded against the proposition. A cite-support note grades a cited passage against the proposition it was offered for, and says when the passage does not carry it.

How to connect

1. OAuth. Add https://vericite.net/mcp to any OAuth-capable MCP client. The client registers itself, a human signs in once in a browser, and there is no token to copy.
2. Static token. For clients that carry a bearer header instead, /start issues a token and shows the exact config block for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and a generic mcp.json.
3. Machine-readable. /llms.txt states the endpoint, the token routes, and the tool surface in a form an agent can read without a browser.
